Boyle, M.D., senior vice president of therapeutics development, and Bill Skach, M.D., senior vice president of research affairs, will discuss the latest research the CF Foundation is funding to ensure that all people with CF have access to a treatment for the underlying cause of their disease and the research and development of therapies to treat and prevent CF complications. Al Faro, M.D., senior director of clinical affairs, will talk about the CF Lung Transplant Initiative to improve the delivery of lung transplant clinical care.

The last five years have brought unprecedented change – and opportunity – for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.  The change in outlook for the disease as well as in the resources, leadership, and breadth of work performed at the Foundation combined with heightened expectations and desires from people with CF and their families have had an enormous impact on every employee and member of the CF Community. This session will discuss some of those changes, their impacts, and what they might mean for the future.
