Catherine McLoud is an executive with almost four decades of experience in leadership positions in the hospitality industry, currently as president of the consulting company Commonwealth Hospitality, LLC. She was elected chair of the Foundation’s National Board of Trustees in 1999 and has served on the board for more than 30 years.
Cam became involved in the CF community after her son, Will, was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis at age 2. Cam is a frequent attendee and speaker at Foundation events, among them the annual North American Cystic Fibrosis Conference and Volunteer Leadership Conference, and she regularly advocates on behalf of the CF community on Capitol Hill. Cam received a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of South Carolina and a master’s degree in business administration from Emory University. When she is not traveling around the country for Foundation events, she lives in Johns Island, S.C. Her son, Will, passed away in 2016 from complications related to cystic fibrosis. He was 34 years old.
